A quick and cozy recipe featuring warm milk infused with vanilla and cinnamon, served in shot glasses with mini chocolate chip cookies for a playful and comforting treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups (480 ml) whole milk (or 2%, almond, oat milk for dairy-free option)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • About 24 mini chocolate chip cookies (store-bought or homemade)
  • Optional: 1-2 tsp honey or maple syrup for sweetness

Instructions

  1. Pour 2 cups (480 ml) of whole milk into a small saucepan. Add 1 tsp vanilla extract and 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon. Whisk gently to combine.
  2. Heat over medium-low for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the milk is warm and aromatic but not boiling.
  3. If desired, stir in 1-2 tsp honey or maple syrup while the milk is warm to dissolve completely.
  4. If using homemade cookies, bake mini chocolate chip cookies ahead of time and let cool completely. For store-bought, have them ready on a plate.
  5. Carefully pour the warm milk into shot glasses, filling about three-quarters full to leave room for dunking the cookies.
  6. Place 3-4 mini chocolate chip cookies on a small plate or alongside each shot glass.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy while the milk is warm and the cookies soften slightly without becoming soggy.

Notes

Keep milk warm but do not boil to avoid scorching. Use mini cookies for perfect dunking without crumbling. Optionally sweeten milk lightly as cookies add sweetness. For a seasonal twist, swap cinnamon with pumpkin pie spice. Store milk in fridge up to 2 days and cookies at room temperature up to 3 days. Reheat milk gently before serving.
