A festive, no-bake layered dessert featuring crushed Oreos, creamy filling, and a hint of peppermint, perfect for holiday gatherings and easy to prepare.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 24 Oreo cookies, finely crushed (regular or double-stuffed)
  • 5 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup (240 ml) powdered sugar
  • 2 cups (480 ml) heavy whipping cream, cold
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 8 Oreo cookies, roughly chopped
  • 1/4 cup crushed peppermint candies (optional)
  • Additional whipped cream for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Crush 24 Oreos into fine crumbs using a food processor or a sealed bag and rolling pin. Mix crumbs with melted butter until mixture holds together. Press firmly into bottom of 9×13 inch baking dish. Chill for 10 minutes.
  2. Beat softened cream cheese on medium speed until smooth, about 2 minutes. Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until silky.
  3. Whip cold heavy cream on high speed until stiff peaks form, about 3-5 minutes. Avoid overwhipping.
  4. Gently fold whipped cream into cream cheese mixture using a spatula to keep mixture airy and smooth.
  5. Spread half of the creamy filling over chilled Oreo crust. Sprinkle half of the chopped Oreos evenly over filling. Repeat with remaining filling and top with remaining chopped Oreos and crushed peppermint candies.
  6. Cover dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to set.
  7. Before serving, optionally add a dollop of whipped cream and extra peppermint sprinkle on each slice.

Notes

Use softened cream cheese to avoid lumps. Whip heavy cream to stiff peaks but do not overwhip. Press crust firmly for compact base. Fold whipped cream gently to keep airy texture. Chill at least 4 hours or overnight for best slicing. Peppermint candies add festive flavor but can be omitted or substituted.
