A quick and easy recipe for crispy corn on the cob cooked in an air fryer and coated with flavorful garlic herb butter. Perfect for busy weeknights or casual gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ears fresh corn on the cob, husked and cleaned
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
  • ½ teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • Pinch of freshly ground black pepper
  • Olive oil spray, for crisping

Instructions

  1. Husk the corn and remove all silk strands. Rinse the ears under cold water and pat dry thoroughly with a kitchen towel.
  2. In a small mixing bowl, combine softened unsalted butter with minced garlic, chopped parsley, thyme leaves, salt, and pepper. Mix well until evenly incorporated.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3 minutes.
  4. Using a silicone brush or spoon, generously spread the garlic herb butter all over each ear of corn. Lightly spray the corn with olive oil.
  5. Place the corn cobs in the air fryer basket in a single layer without overcrowding.
  6. Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 12–15 minutes, turning the cobs halfway through cooking to brown all sides evenly.
  7. Remove the corn from the air fryer and immediately brush with any remaining garlic herb butter.
  8. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt and freshly ground black pepper if desired. Serve hot.

Notes

Pat the corn dry thoroughly to ensure crispiness. Use softened butter for easy spreading. Preheat the air fryer for best results. Turn the corn halfway through cooking for even crisping. Avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket. For dairy-free, use plant-based butter and adjust herbs as desired. Leftovers can be reheated in the air fryer at 350°F for 3–5 minutes to restore crispiness.
