A rich and velvety chocolate martini combining smooth vodka, chocolate liqueur, and cream for a luxurious sipping experience. Perfect for special occasions or cozy nights in.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ounces (60 ml) vodka (smooth, clean vodka like Tito’s or Absolut)
  • 1.5 ounces (45 ml) chocolate liqueur (Godiva or Mozart recommended)
  • 1 ounce (30 ml) cream or half-and-half (dairy-free cream optional)
  • 1 teaspoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 0.5 ounce (15 ml) simple syrup (optional)
  • Ice cubes for shaking
  • Chocolate shavings or cocoa powder for garnish

Instructions

  1. Chill your martini glass in the freezer for about 10 minutes.
  2. In a small bowl, stir the cocoa powder into the cream or half-and-half until fully combined and smooth.
  3. Fill a cocktail shaker about 3/4 full with ice cubes.
  4. Add vodka, chocolate liqueur, cocoa-infused cream, and simple syrup (if using) to the shaker.
  5. Seal the shaker and shake vigorously for about 20 seconds until ice-cold and frothy.
  6. Remove the chilled glass from the freezer and strain the cocktail into it using a fine-mesh strainer.
  7. Garnish with chocolate shavings or a light dusting of cocoa powder.

Notes

Use quality vodka and chocolate liqueur for best results. Chill the glass and shaker for a crisp, refreshing drink. Shake vigorously to create a frothy texture. Adjust sweetness with simple syrup to taste. For dairy-free options, substitute cream with coconut cream or almond milk creamer.
