A bright and refreshing Aperol Spritz pitcher perfect for spring parties, combining bittersweet Aperol, sparkling prosecco, soda water, and fresh citrus for a bubbly, crowd-pleasing drink.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups (360 ml) Aperol
  • 3 cups (720 ml) chilled prosecco (dry or extra dry)
  • 1 1/2 cups (360 ml) chilled soda water
  • 1 large orange, thinly sliced
  • Ice cubes, plenty to fill the pitcher
  • Optional: sprigs of fresh mint or rosemary for garnish

Instructions

  1. Chill all liquids and the pitcher: Place prosecco, soda water, and pitcher in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before assembling.
  2. Slice the orange into thin rounds, cutting some rounds in half for garnish.
  3. Pour 1 1/2 cups (360 ml) Aperol into the chilled pitcher.
  4. Slowly add 3 cups (720 ml) chilled prosecco to preserve bubbles.
  5. Stir in 1 1/2 cups (360 ml) chilled soda water gently to combine without losing fizz.
  6. Fill the pitcher with plenty of ice cubes, then add fresh orange slices and optional herbs.
  7. Serve immediately by pouring into glasses filled with ice and garnish as desired.

Notes

Keep all liquids and pitcher well chilled to maintain fizz and prevent dilution. Stir gently to preserve bubbles. Use fresh orange slices for best flavor and aroma. Prepare ahead by mixing Aperol and prosecco without ice or soda water; add those just before serving. Can substitute prosecco with dry sparkling rosé or non-alcoholic sparkling wine for variations.
