Bahama Mama Smoothie - featured image

A tropical smoothie bursting with flavors of pineapple, mango, banana, orange juice, and coconut milk. Perfect for summer mornings, brunches, or a refreshing treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup frozen mango
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • Ice cubes (as needed)
  • Optional garnishes: shredded coconut, fresh mint leaves, or a slice of pineapple

Instructions

  1. Prep the fruits: If using fresh mango and pineapple, peel and chop them into small chunks. For frozen fruits, no prep is needed.
  2. Add ingredients to blender: Combine 1 cup of frozen mango, 1 cup of frozen pineapple, 1 ripe banana, 1 cup of orange juice, and 1/2 cup of coconut milk in your blender.
  3. Blend: Blend the mixture on high for 1-2 minutes until smooth and creamy. Stop and scrape down the sides if needed.
  4. Adjust consistency: Add a handful of ice cubes and blend again for a thicker texture. If it’s too thick, add a splash of orange juice or coconut milk.
  5. Taste and adjust: Taste your smoothie and adjust sweetness if necessary. Add a drizzle of honey or agave syrup if you prefer it sweeter.
  6. Serve: Pour the smoothie into glasses and garnish with shredded coconut, a pineapple wedge, or fresh mint leaves.

Notes

[‘Using frozen mango and pineapple gives the smoothie a thick, creamy texture without needing extra ice.’, ‘Make sure your banana is ripe for the best natural sweetness.’, ‘Start blending on a low setting and gradually increase to high for a smoother result.’, ‘Taste your smoothie before serving and adjust sweetness with honey or agave syrup if needed.’, ‘Don’t overdo the ice to avoid diluting the flavors.’]
