A quick and easy homemade mixed berry punch that is perfect for baby showers and any joyful gathering. This refreshing drink combines mixed berries, lemon juice, honey, and sparkling water for a sweet, tangy, and fizzy treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups (300 g) mixed berries (fresh or frozen strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries)
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) honey or agave syrup
  • 3 cups (720 ml) cold water
  • 2 cups (480 ml) sparkling water or club soda
  • A handful of fresh mint leaves (optional)
  • Lemon slices or extra berries for garnish

Instructions

  1. If using frozen berries, thaw them slightly at room temperature for about 15 minutes and drain excess liquid if needed.
  2. Lightly muddle about half of the berries (about 1 cup / 150 g) in a large punch bowl or mixing bowl to release their juices.
  3. Add 1/4 cup (60 ml) fresh lemon juice and 1/4 cup (60 ml) honey or agave syrup to the berries and stir until the sweetener dissolves.
  4. Pour in 3 cups (720 ml) cold water and stir to combine all flavors.
  5. Cover and refrigerate the mixture for at least 1 hour to let the flavors meld (30 minutes if short on time).
  6. Just before serving, add 2 cups (480 ml) chilled sparkling water or club soda and stir gently to keep the fizz.
  7. Garnish with remaining whole berries, fresh mint leaves, and lemon slices. Serve over ice in glassware.

Notes

Add sparkling water last to keep the punch fizzy. Adjust sweetness after chilling if needed. Use a mix of fresh and frozen berries for best flavor. Can be made ahead by preparing the base without sparkling water and adding fizz before serving. Variations include adding coconut or almond milk for a creamy twist or adding alcohol for an adult version.
