A quick and easy homemade summer drink blending frozen peaches with bubbly prosecco for a refreshing, fruity slushie perfect for hot days and casual gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups (300g) frozen peach slices
  • 1 cup (8 fl oz / 240ml) chilled prosecco
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) fresh lemon juice
  • 12 teaspoons (5-10ml) simple syrup or honey (optional)
  • 1 cup (5 oz / 150g) ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Take 2 cups (300g) of frozen peach slices out of the freezer. If clumped, break apart with your hands (about 1 minute).
  2. Place frozen peaches and 1 cup (150g) ice cubes into a blender. Pulse on high for 30 to 45 seconds until smooth and slushie-like.
  3. Add 1 tablespoon (15ml) fresh lemon juice and 1-2 teaspoons (5-10ml) simple syrup or honey. Blend for 10 seconds to combine and adjust sweetness if needed.
  4. Pour 1 cup (240ml) chilled prosecco gently into the blender. Pulse a couple of times to mix without over-blending to preserve bubbles.
  5. Serve immediately in chilled glasses, optionally garnished with a peach slice or mint sprig.

Notes

Use ripe, unsweetened frozen peaches for best flavor. Blend peaches and ice first before adding prosecco to preserve bubbles. Chill glasses ahead for colder drinks. For a non-alcoholic version, substitute prosecco with sparkling water or lemon-lime soda. Avoid over-blending prosecco to keep fizz.
